Mitigation Site for OR140

An endangered fish is sacred to native Americans near Klamath Lake. Conway created habitat and breeding areas by excavating channels and ponds within a wetland. This required sediment containment and the construction of temporary timber-mat access roads out into the lake. Conway completed the project ahead of schedule and earned an environmental excellence award.

Barnes-Agency Phase 1

This project furthered habitat creation through the excavation and embankment of wetland dikes and the construction of access roads. Conway worked closely with private, federal, and Native American entities to overcome soft soil conditions and winter weather to complete this project on time.
