Battleground Skate Park and Road Improvements

Conway constructed this 27,000 square-foot, cast in place concrete skate park and associated street improvements. The park has since earned the rank of second-best skate park in the state by the Seattle Times and one of the nation’s top ten skate parks by Best of American Towns. Conway completed the project on time.

Dismal Nitch Rest Area

CCC rehabilitated the Dismal Nitch Rest area with new curbs, sidewalk, paving, interpretive signs, pedestrian railing, decorative curved concrete walls with painted faux stone, topsoil and plantings. Plymouth Island Bank Stabilization

Wave erosion of an island in the Columbia River threatened archeological sites. Conway stabilized banks and completed the project on time.

Timber companies ship logs through the Port of Astoria to points around the globe, but this presents environmental challenges. Conway mitigated wood waste contaminated storm drain run off by constructing a system comprised of pump stations, transmission lines, and treatment ponds. The work required caissons, dewatering, and major earthwork. Conway completed it on time.
