Baskett Slough Headquarters Access Design and Ankeny Hill Nature Center Access

Added a Turn Lane to OR-22 including sub-excavation, excavation, embankment, culvert extension, aggregate base and paving. Ankeny Hill Nature Center: Built Access Road, Precast Box Culvert, Parkinglot, drainage, Visitor Contact Building and walking trails.

Cowlitz Valley Road Repairs

Description:

Conway Construction diverted the Cispus River, Repaired the damaged roadway washed away by the river, Installed two precast concrete box culverts, two large culverts and performed bridge repair. In total Conway completed 8 sites.

Mather Memorial

Location: Mt Rainer National Park

Description:

SR 410 is one of only East/West Crossings in Washington. Due to snow it is open 6-7 months a year. In order to minimize the impact to the community and traveling public, the Federal Highway administration required that the project be accelerated. Conway Construction worked 6 days a week to remove asphalt as thick is 4', perform roadway excavation, build 2800 sqft of Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls, replace culverts, place base rock and pave. Conway Construction met the aggressive project schedule and earned the commendation of both the National Parks Service and the Highway Administration.

Port of Astoria Waterfront District Stormwater System Improvements

Dismal Nitch and Megler Rest Area

Location: Megler, OR

Description:

CCC rehabilitated the Dismal Nitch Rest area with new curbs, sidewalk, paving, interpretive signs, pedestrian railing, decorative curved concrete walls with painted faux stone, topsoil and plantings. CCC accomplished the work under a tight schedule during one of the wettest falls in memory.

CCC received commendations from the Federal Highway Administration for their work on the project.

0.8 Miles West of Chapman Road Erosion Protection

Location: Randle, Wa

Description:

Conway Construction Company successfully completed the addition of over 17,000 tons of rip rap to the 1,900 feet to the bank of the Cowlitz River. The project was completed well ahead of schedule, on budget and complied with all the environmental regulations of the many local, state and federal permits.

USACE Pierce County Emergency Revetment Repair

Location: Orting, Wa

Description:

The USACE called on a Thursday to announce its award of this contract to Conway Construction Company. Conway Construction Company was on the ground working by Saturday of the same week. CCC provided four 86,000lb-95,000lb excavators, five dump trucks, a water truck and grader to perform the work.

Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center Structural Collapse Venue

Location: Warrenton, OR

Description:

Conway Construction Company completed the Structural Collapse Venue within 45 calender days. CCC performed extensive analysis and CAD drawings in order to assure the structure fit as designed. CCC was able to beat the schedule for this demanding process and earned the accolades of the Oregon Military for a job well done.
